The research was repeated in December 2009 and there was a clear improvement in understanding of EPM basics. However, much remains to be done. This approach will, by its very nature, lead to a comparative set of results that are built upon perceptions which may not be fully reflected in reality. This perception/reality gap is, in itself, important, in that many individuals within organisations have misaligned perceptions around their own business'' capabilities. Other
