This has led many to recommend an n-tier approach to demand management, where everyone gets visibility to the end-customer demand at the same time. In practice, very few companies have been able to actually realize this vision. There are some practical approaches that a few leading suppliers deep in the supply chain are have taken to successfully mitigate the bull-whip effect.

BLM: Buzzword Life Cycle Management
The management of buzzwords represents a significant area of improvement for both the buzzword users (BU) and the buzzword consumers (BC). Buzzword life cycle management (BLM) is a proven discipline being applied within the software industry.

SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT ERP: crying need within the software industry. What is a Buzzword? Buzzwords are often supplemented with acronyms. Acronym life cycle management (ALM) is a closely related science to BLM. The creation of the buzzword versus the acronym is often a chicken and an egg issue—which comes first, is often driven by how

Technical Staff Management Systems for the Aviation Industry
In the airline industry, aircraft maintenance is an activity that has to be done throughout the day, so maintenance personnel must be available at all times. The complexity of the operation increases the need for a maintenance personnel management system.

SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT ERP: about the options that software and technology offer to help solve these issues. Maintenance Personnel Management Systems I had the chance of researching a system that would help and automate some of the activities that line maintenance supervisors have to perform and I realized that there are many systems that are generic and look more like a payroll and attendance system than a personnel management and automatic job allocation system.
