The Store of the Future
The big hit of the National Retail Federation show was the Metro Group's Store of the Future. The budget for this extravaganza - it appears to have been underwritten by some of the biggest technology firms in the world.

In this tutorial, we illustrate a number of the procedures for rapid decision processing through the real-life selection of a PDA device. The process gave confidence to the argument to wait for the solution, while weighing risk against return.

It Takes More Than a Fast CPU to Rule the Web
Compaq Computer Corporation, desperate to get some kind of high-end UNIX benefit from its ill-conceived acquisition of Digital Equipment Corp., has announced its massive, 32-CPU capable GS series of Alpha systems. But, as was the case with Digital, Compaq marketing seems overly concerned with CPU - not system - performance.

Compaq should have had these figures two months ago. Compaq is anticipating $1 Billion in sales
